Our Mission Statement
What Our Clients Say
"The house was wonderfully maintained and equipped (we
Couldn't think of anything it was missing), offered a perfect location (near
many resorts, internet access at Fosters', 40 minute walk into the "town' of
West End", yet also a perfect little cave of seclusion and privacy." Villa Serena We have thoroughly enjoyed the lovely house, the
architecture works so well in this landscape. We were surprised how effective
the natural ventilation was. We came with 4 children ranging from 3 to 13 loved
'being children' free and creative; along the beach; sand castle building; in
the kayaks & swimming pool. This is truly a beautiful place. |
About UsScott, Andrew, Sparky and I (Linda Kay) made the move to our paradise, dream life style on Roatan in the spring of 2003. We get asked often if we would go back to the US and Scott and I can honestly say, no. Andrew is back stateside attending college. Even though "Paradise" is really a state of mind, it is just easier to achieve here and maintain it longer than it was in Colorado. I left a successful career in IT project management and logistics engineering consulting. Even then Scott was busy in the real estate business as the Broker/Owner/Land & Home Developer in Black Forest, a lovely area east of Colorado Springs. Our son, Andrew, attended public school and enjoyed paint ball parties on our 5 acres. I wanted to escape the cold, daily commutes and corporate cube environment. Scott wanted to escape the cold and simplify his life. And Andrew was looking for Caribbean adventure along with an educational experience focused on learning (we started home schooling him when we moved here). Sparky (a Bichon Frise) just wanted to be with us. Andrew is now in his third year of college at a wonderful small liberal arts school in Kentucky where students learn both academics and employment skills. I take care of cyberspace stuff for the promotion of these vacation rentals, as well as managing the care of these second homes and their guests. Scott is helping people achieve successful real estate investments here on Roatan and on the mainland of Honduras. Visit him at his web site http://www.roatandreams.com or his blog, The Real Roatan Report, where you will find funny and interesting stories about life on Roatan. you like to laugh take a look at it. One of the things that appealed to me while planning our move to Roatan was creating a business that created employment. By coincidence, I discovered plant essential oils at about the same time I discovered how badly I reacted to sand fly bites. I already knew the perils of DEET and had not found alternatives that really worked. After much research, I came up with a couple of mixtures that worked well. I was later happy to see that the CDC validated this via their alternative natural ingredient recommendation. The Roatan Marine Park is a strong supporter of my product as it works without harming the coral. Bottles of Linda Kay's Bodyguard are provided to guests of these villas. If you happen to stay elsewhere, you can find Linda Kay's Bodyguard at most all groceries and resorts. It comes in a blue bottle with a Latin fairy on the label. Currently, it is only sold on Roatan.
